Zachary has very high class 2 antibodies from going into antibody and acute rejection in October. Zachary’s kidney is to damaged to repair. Zachary is feeling much better today. He is still swollen and is feeling sick but overall he is smiling and playing video games on are Wii with Austin. Zachary’s blood pressures have been high since yesterday and today they are starting to come down a little. Zachary had his labs drawn today and whenever he has high Blood pressures his creatinine kidney function usually comes down because his heart is working harder to pump blood to the kidney. The kidney likes high blood pressure , because it is getting more blood flow. But it is not good for his body to have a blood pressure of 140/90. The point is usually his labs look better, and his kidney lab are a false low. Well, today his creatinine is 2.3 not liking, So most likely his creatinine is even higher. The plan is to redrawn him again this week and see were he levels out. Tomorrow Zachary has a follow up appointment from his hospital stay last week. The nurse said that his Lungs sound good Zachary is also up in his weight!!! Yippee!! He now weights 41lbs I am pretty sure that it is not fluid because he is on 3 ml of Lasix x2 a day . I just pray that he can keep it on. That for everybody that has called into the Transplant center so see if you could be Zachary’s HERO. You are all HERO’S in my eye’s. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. This has been a very tough year for our family and I pray that 2010 will bring Zachary the gift of life. Stacey

He feels like CRAP! He still has a fever .. He is still throwing up .. his eye are still swollen and he is starting to puff up again. I am very scared for his labs on Monday. When we left the hospital his creatinine Kidney function was 2.0, I am OK with that.. Now he is looking a little worse. This is not fair!! Christmas is coming and I fear that this year we will be spending it in the hospital. Christmas is Zachary’s favorite holiday and he is so sick that all he wants to do is sleep or just lay around. He is ONLY 5 yrs old!! He should be running around and playing with his friends and wrestling his brother not feeling sick all the time!! WE NEED TO FIND HIM A HERO!!! I can’t wait for my Zachary to feel like Zach Man again. I feel helpless. I order some business cards with Zachary ‘s picture on them with his website. I am going to hand them out to everybody!! I am also trying to work on a flyer to hang up at all the local stores. If anybody would like to help, we would be very grateful:) We need to find him a Kidney. I talked to the Transplant center yesterday and about 25 people have already called in to get tested!! WOW.. That is AWESOME!! Thank you… You are all HERO’S in my eyes!! This has been a very tough year not only for Zachary but for the whole family Kiley is only 9 yrs old and has seen and heard more than her little mind can handle. Kiley is very scared for Zachary. This Year Zachary has spent a lot of time in and out of the hospital with Multiple surgeries and complications . Austin has been living with Wades parents and Kiley has been living at our neighbors Karen and Troy’s house . So my wonderful husband can still work and provide for our family. Thank you guys so MUCH!! There is NO way that we could do this without your help.:) I pray that this year 2010!! WE WILL FIND ZACHARY’S HERO!! Zachary had another rough night… He was up coughing and puking half the night. Zachary spiked a fever last evening , but over night he was fever free!!! His blood pressure 118/88 still a little high and sats 90%-94% are doing much better. He did break out in hives again , we think from the Tamaflu but with some benadryle and Vistral

He did MUCH better. The plan is to hopefully send us home today on 2 Antibiotics and Tamaflu. Overall Zachary is looking and feeling a little better. Zachary hates being here and gets no sleep. He just does so much better at home.

Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers, be patient if you called to get tested and they have not called back. They will call.. Give them time and if they don’t call in 2 days than call back. Thank you to everybody that are being tested.. All of you are HERO’S!!!

Zachary had a very rough night. He was very MISERABLE! with the hives and jumping around in his bed like a fish out of water from iching so bad. I felt awful… He was having a very hard time breathing. His o2 sats were 84%-90% all night. He was up ALL night coughing and feeling pretty sick! and I felt helpless.

Now today his sats are 92%, he still has hives and his eyes are still a little swollen with green junk. Overall he is feeling much better! The antibiotics are working… I am still waiting on the results from the PH study that he had on Monday, as soon as I get them I will update.
The plan is to keep a close eye on him and make sure he keeps heading down the road to recovery.

Zachary is back in the hospital U of M 5a 219…ONE ROOM DOWN FROM YESTERDAY

Last night Zachary was discharged from the hospital, he did awesome for the PH test. We should get the results back some time tomorrow.

Less than 20 hours later Zachary is back in the hospital… Last night at about 3am Zachary woke up coughing pretty bad, he aspirated . When he woke up in the morning he looked awful and had a fever of 100.7. I brought him in to his primary and they did a chest x-ray and confirmed that he has Pneumonia in both lungs again! He also has a nasty bladder infection. So here we are back in the hospital. When we got here Zachary’s eye started to pour out green junk! And he has hives on his back, arms and tummy. He is MISERABLE! They started him on Oral Antibiotics, Tamaflu and eye drop Antibiotics a long with his other 39 medications. I feel so bad for him .. He looks and feels awful! They drew blood cultures and they swabbed him for all nasty viral infections .

Please pray that Zachary can fight this nasty infection.. Zachary is very immune suppressed so this is going to be hard for him. He is running a fever 102.2 and his sats have been between 87-93% . Zachary’s Blood Pressures are back up again 130/90!
