Zach…I was just told about your story today, reading your story for the first time kowing that you are recuperating from your second kidney transplant yesterday. I am impressed beyond words with how you have handeled your life and your parents dedication to do everything it takes to insure your life. I am praying so hard at this very second for your smooth recuperation to return to YOUR LIFE as a son, brother, student, grandson, nephew (?) cousin (?). I find saying the OUR FATHER is a powerful source of inner strength. I will be following along on your journey. I was a kidney donor to my husband 13 1/2 years ago so I understand a very little bit about kidney transplants, although you are so young and vital to have to deal with all this so soon. You obviously have very strong parents and family who will be there right by your side as you get well. Love, prayers and strength for you. God bless you.

This makes me very happy. Have been thinking about Zach since Christmas wish on the radio. It shouldn’t seem so profound, but it’s really inspiring that you have asked the world for help and received it.

I came across Zach’s website and I thought I would share with you that I was on dialysis and recently was transplanted. As a young adult this was very very very hard esp with high blood pressures often landing me in the hospital. This has to be incredibly hard for Zach. I cannot imagine at such a young age going through so much. You have on precious little miracle and our Lord will never stop wrapping his arms around him.

I’m at work and ended up getting sucked into Zach’s life and yours. I have dead lines to meet but none of them matter anymore. I’m fighting tears for a innocent life I have never known. And wanting to donate my kidney (or try) scares me half to death but I don’t need them both. I could not imagine but a fraction of what your family has and are going through. Zach needs another hero, yes, but to many he is our hero for showing us life is worth fighting for. I don’t remember my blood type but I will find out and I will see if I am the less then 3%. I will pray for you and your family. Zach you are loved by many and even though you don’t know me I feel I know you….and you are in my heart and prayers. Stay strong, my little hero!

This is so sad…, I have faith in the little kid and want to spread your word if I am not a match. I am trying to get parent permission. No family or child should have to deal with that with little Zachary being only 8. Hold in there buddy, help in on the way…
