We have Officially switched Nephrologist !!!!! After 6 yrs of many battles and almost losing our Son ! We are starting a new Chapter with fresh eye’s and one Amazing Doctor, who has been in the field for 41 yrs ! I just hate starting over, but we feel that this is long over due….

Zachary is having a pretty good day.. The heat has been very hard on him . He has been hanging out mostly inside playing games, coloring and painting.

Hi surgery site is not looking to good..I just called the Dr. to hopefully get him in soon, to make sure that it is heal ok. I know being immune Suppressed can take longer, But it’s still bleeding on and off and swollen around his surgical site.

We are very excited to a new Start with a new Doctor…I like the Idea of News Eye’s and Idea’s on a future plan for Zachary.

Zachary is still doing pretty good… He has been a little more tired the last 2 days days,But i am thinking to much Sun and fresh air. On Saturday we spent the day the Beach and Sunday we had are HOPEKIDS walk !!

We had a Fun day at the HOPEKIDS walk !!! We walked 3 miles, Austin ran 1 mile and came in 5th place ! They had a Dog show, Car Show, Reptiles, Swimming, Clowns making balloons, The Mascots of Minnesota had a race and we ended with a Awesome lunch !

Zachary had a rough night…His urine bag connected to the mitrofanoff was not draining so Poor Zachary was very restless. Finally around 6am I was able to get it un clogged and we had liquid GOLD !! Very Exciting !! He has been having a little pain, but not much.. He is one tough boy ! I am still in shock that the abscess was connected to the Mitrofanoff and down to the Bladder. crazy !!

Zachary was so miserable for so many Months and nobody could figure out what was wrong and nobody listened. NOW we have Answers !! I just pray that his body can fight off all the nasty bugs and his body can heal.

Now for the GREAT NEWS !! Zachary’s antibodies that were between 97%-100% ! are now down to…………………… 80% !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AMAZING!

They are going to re-draw them again to see if they keep going down or what his body is going to do.
Most likely his body was so stressed from fighting this abscess for so many months that it built up these high antibodies cause it to be impossible to find a kIDNEY.

This picture was 2 nights before his surgery.. night swinging…I love the look on his face. He was looking at something in the sky. Maybe, God was talking to him telling him everything was going to be ok.

Zachary’s surgery went great !!! And we are HOME !!

He is doing great !!

They had to revise his mitrofanoff. The abscess and Mitrofanoff tracks were connected all the way to the bladder causing all of these issues with him being so sick for the last many months. The Drs have never seen this happen before. They cut out the abscess and pulled out the Mitrofanoff track out about 3in . The plan is to keep his pain under control and pray that this doesn’t happen again..

No Guarantee’s…Because Zachary is immune suppresses he is at risk for these issues.
