The Benefit was a success !! Thank you for all your support ,Prayers,and donations. It was a wonderful night full of friends, Family and complete strangers that all came together for a wonderful cause. Zachary was very tired and overwhelmed last night…I was’nt sure how he felt about the whole benefit but This morning when he woke up he said he had a fun party !! I told him that when he gets his new Kidney and feeling better we will have another BIG party just like that for him. He was pretty excited !

Thank you  Mick , Cate and all my friends and family that helped out to make this day happen. We raised enough money for us to check out other hospitals more opinions on what would be best for Zachary. Our goal is to get his antibodies down so he will be able to receive another kidney Transplant. Please keep passing on his site so we can find a HERO!!

Zachary slept pretty good last night . He was up and down a lot but, he did get a good 4 hours in. He is so tired all the time his little body is just so restless at night. Lately all he wants to do is lay around. His blood pressures are still high 130/90′s…Still not liking. School is going great! We are so proud of him. He is reading and adding but his handwriting needs some work. Overall, we are thinking that next year we might move him to 1st grade and not hold him back. That is if his health stays stable through the summer.

Not liking the results !! The sleep study showed nothing!! No sleep Apena, No restless leg syndrome ! NOTHING !I am happy that it is nothing but, we need answers.. It took him from 8pm-2am being very restless and a walk in the stroller to finally fell a sleep. Then he woke up at 5am, which was a lot of sleep for him . But, don’t forget he was up for over 30 hours before this study because of him not able to sleep. Then back to bed, restless and up at 7:45am. “This is a good night for him”. Still I think it’s not normal? Do you? Am I crazy ! So now where do I go from here…….

I got my results back from my donor work-up for the paired-exchange. My GFR level is to low so on Friday I go in all day for another test called the I O HEXO test. They will put an IV in my arm and give me some contract. Then I will have my labs drawn every hour for 4-5 hrs. It going to be another long day..But nothing compared to what Zachary has been through.. I just pray that everything is OK so we can go ahead with the Paired-exchange to better Zachary’s odds on getting a kidney.

Today we didn’t get great news… Zachary’s antibodies took another jump and the transplant center decided to put testing on hold. I am crying as I am typing because we tried so hard to find him a HERO! I am NOT giving up !! I know that there is a HERO out there !!

The plan is to have the sleep study in our house this week and see what his little body is doing at night and to figure out why he is so restless at night. The plan about his antibodies are to PRAY PRAY PRAY AND PRAY HARD!

I am looking into other Hospital in the US to see what one would be best for Zachary to help with his Antibodies. PLEASE dont give up !! Please keep calling in and tell them that you want to be Zachary’s HERO! They still want people to call in and they will keep you on a list until we come up with a better plan. My heart is just pounding…. I never thought We would ever been siting in this position… Please pray for his antibodies to come down.. I believe in the power of prayer.
