UPDATE !!

Watch channel 4 WCCO At 6pm !! Zachary is going to be on TV !! They just came out and did a story on finding Zachary a Kidney.

Zachary had a rough night… He finally fell a sleep around 5 am. It was a very long night for me. Wade had pager duty last night so i didn’t get any extra help. I am so lucky that I have such a wonderful husband who works full time and still gets up at night to help with Zach. Zachary’s tummy is still very swollen, I am not sure if it’s infected or if he has a hernia? Not sure but it just doesn’t look right. I am calling the DR. this morning to see what he thinks. He has no more pain and when he is a wake he is pretty active running a round. He will have the tube stitched in for 4 weeks. Which is not going to be fun. He wanted to take a bath at 3 am and was crying when I told him he couldn’t . I think the next 4 weeks are going to be hard for him.

I got a call from the Transplant center yesterday and they are very overwhelmed with all the calls. They are getting me a new number on Friday for people to call. Hopefully than they will get back to people sooner.

My family and friend are having a benefit for our family we are thinking in June , Not sure now.. We might move it up. I am talking to other Transplant centers in the United states to see if they have any other treatments to get Zachary’s antibodies down. He is at 97% !! That means that he only has a 3 % chance of finding a kIDNEY. !!
