Day # 1 reovery

Zachary had an AWESOME night !! His blood pressures are coming down and his pain is under control… I am not use to having no complications and at least some drama.. I think with all of these extra prayers somebody is definitely listen. Thank you so much for all your prayers!! If he can tolerate his feeds this morning we get to go home some time tonight.

I talked to the Drs last night about Zachary’s high antibodies.. His primary Kidney Dr.  didn’t have  any Idea that they were 97% !! I guess the labs value just came out yesterday . I am so worried…… I can’t believe that he now only has a 3% chance of finding a ” “HERO” Kidney……. The plan is to PRAY.. and PRAY HARD that his antibodies come down. He  already had Plasmapheresis and IVIG  to help but they didn’t stay down to long.

We are thinking about checking out other Transplant  Hospitals to see what they have to offer.. There has to be some one out there that is doing a study on lowering class 2 high antibodies on Transplant patients. If anybody has suggestions please feel free to email me.   Elsenpeters@msn.com

Zachary had his first Kidney Transplant when he was just 11 months old, Which his Daddy gave him that second chance at life….
