Zachary is doing AWESOME!! his blood pressure are coming down.. He still has some highs but overall he is 120/80!!! Still high but at least they are not 140/90′s or higher. They upped 2 of his 5 blood pressure meds. Zachary is so maxed out on his meds…. It scares me ! We just pray that we can find him a HERO soon

Today we are heading down to the U of M for a care conference to talk about fixing his Mitrofanoff. It is to the point That I am unable to Cath him anymore and he has many false tracks. The Drs. are worried to re-open him because he is so immune suppressed. Zachary is a very tough little boy … but only God knows what he can handle. I pray for the Drs. to put there heads together and come up with a plan.

Overall Zachary is felling much better, he has good days and bad days…..

Zachary still has high Blood Pressures 130/90! He is maxed out on all of his Blood pressure meds, and as his Mom
I am very scared. I feel helpless.. I am supposed to fix him and make him feel better and I can’t. I am B+ blood and I cannot save my son. The Transplant center called and told me that 42 people have called in. WOW!! That puts me in tears knowing that 42 amazing people are willing give my son another chance at life. I am breathe taken by all of these wonderful people. Thank you… It is you that get me through my days knowing that we will find him a HERO.

Zachary is feeling pretty sick the last week. He has no energy and is very nausea through out the day. Zachary also needs to have another surgery to fix his mitrofanoff. That means that the Drs. will have to re-open him up down the middle again. Zachary has many false tracks in the mitrofanoff and it is coming to be impossible for me to Cath him. I fear for him having another surgery, his little body is under so much stress and he has no immune system to fight or to heal. We are thinking about having the surgery in January. I will update when I know more.

On December 17, 2003 I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, we named him Zachary. Two weeks later our lives changed forever. The Doctors told us that our baby boy was very sick and needed a Kidney Transplant to live. I will never forget that day. That was the day I felt like my world was coming to an end.
Zachary you are the sunshine of our lives you have not only touched our family, but many other lives out there.
Zachary you taught me to live life to the fullest and to enjoy everyday. We will never know what tomorrow will bring, but we will enjoy everyday that we have here on earth together as a family.

Box of Meds

These are Zachary's medication that are keeping him alive.

Zachary is doing pretty good He has lots of energy during the day , but by night time he is exhausted. Zachary had school yesterday and is doing awesome with his home schooling. A special ED teacher from Zachary’s school has been coming out M-F for the last couple of weeks, so Zachary can get caught up with all that he has missed. Thank you Cindy

Zachary still has high Blood pressures 137/96! They have been high since Thursday. Zachary had his lab drawn yesterday and overall all they look Awesome, But i can’t really go off of them because every time he has High BP’S his little heart pumps lots of blood to the kidney and his Kidney loves that extra blood and then we get a false low for his creatinine. The bad is his poor heart is just working way to hard! His heart rate has been 130-145.. Way to high!
I am still waiting for a call back for the next plan…

I can’t believe that Christmas is just right around the corner.. Zachary’s wish is for every child out there to have a present from Santa… so please in honor of Zachary’s wish if you have extra gifts it would mean a lot to Zachary if you would donate to Toys for Tots in Honor of him.

This has been a tough year for our Family, but we are thankful for many things. We still have a House , two vehicles and the love and support from all of are Family, Friends and all of Zachary’s followers.
Please pray for his Blood pressure to come down and for us to find him a HERO….
