We are still looking for a HERO

Zachary went into Antibody , Acute and Chronic rejection September 30, 2009 He developed very high class 2 Antibodies . Zachary’s kidney is to damaged to repair, and with his high Antibodies it is going to be very difficult to find him a new Kidney. If you would like to be Zachary’s HERO and get tested to see if you are a match…PLEASE CALL… (612) 625-5115 Option 5-8-1 This is the donor line. Zachary is A+ If you are A+ A- O+ O- and are in good health, under age 60 with good Blood pressures and no Diabetes you could be Zachary’s HERO!!!! Let them Know it is for Zachary Elsenpeter ….. Zachary’s Blood pressures are still very high. The Drs. upped one of his 5 blood pressure meds that he is on and he is still high. Today he has his labs drawn again at 10am for a CSA level and to see how his Kidney function is. He was feeling pretty good Thursday and Friday but this weekend his energy level is really low. He is also getting only 3-4 hours of sleep a night because he is so restless. And for me, I am only getting maybe 2-3 hours a night. If we can’t get his Blood pressures under control he will need another biospy to see if he is going into rejection again.

Please pray for his Blood pressure to come down and for us to find him a HERO….

Hello stacey,
Thank you for asking for prayers for Luke. His creatinine went up to .82 today. But, they still let us go home. We are going to be doing plasmapheresis and IVIG four times a week. Luke is on Prograf, Rapamune, and Azathioprin for immunosuppresson. And of course you can not forget the prednisone which he is on high doses of now. I am praying that Zachary’s labs looked good today and that he starts to feel better. Hang in there.
