Zachary had his labs drawn today and his creatinine is still 2.4… Still way to high! His Hemoglobin is also low and his White count is 13! The DRS don’t like his labs but are letting us still home for the weekend. They are re-drawing him again on Monday.
Today they also drew his Anti-body level. Hopefully by Tuesday next week I’ll have the results. I pray that his Anti-bodies have not gone up and have come down. This lab is going to

Overall Zachary looks great, his energy level goes up and down. He is happy and smiling and still has his silly moments. We have had long talks about how his Kidney is sick and that he needs a new one to feel better. All i keep telling him is soon… soon he will feel better and be able to run and go back to school like he did before. Talking about school.. Zachary is being home schooled M-F for an hour to get caught up with his class mates. He missed a whole month of school. He is loving that a teacher comes to our house and he gets to do school at home.

Zachary had his labs drawn yesterday and his creatinine was 2.4!!! I just talked to the DRS and we now have a new plan. Zachary’s Anti-bodies are now at 91% not 100% like they were in October.. so he has a 9% chance of finding that match. They are going to redraw them on Friday and if there is still a window we are going to start to test people hopefully next week…

If you would like to be his HERO and give him the most AMAZING gift to give him a second chance at life.. and knowing that you are saving a little 5 yr old boy.. Would mean more than words could say to Zachary and to our Family.

IT COULD BE YOU !!! I as his mom wish I was a match but my blood type is B+ Zachary is A+ The DRS would like a 6 out of 6 match so we need to find that special person.. He or She is out there … We just need them to find it in there heart and see if they could be Zachary’s HERO!!!

UPDATE.. Zachary’s creatinine is back up to 2.4! Not liking one bit!! now it is the waiting game for the DRS to call back. Zachary has been sleeping all morning and is still sleeping. Yesterday he had so much energy, I thought things were turing around..

Zachary is doing AWESOME!! Yesterday he went ALL day without a nap!!!! He was tired but kept him self going and going ALL day!! We spent the day at my Dads new house. He lives on 12 Acres and there is a lot to do and lot to see. Thank you Dad for a fun day…..

Today Zachary has labs again… Labs are stressful, because then I have to wait and wait for the results. His Blood Pressures are finally great and he looks Awesome today!! Hopefully his labs will come back Awesome to.

We had a very nice weekend, Zachary slept pretty much the whole time. But we were able to get him out a few times.
Zachary’s Blood Pressures are very low now 90/50!! Not sure why, His heart rate has been going up and down, between 60-120. I am not liking the 120!! I do get a little scared with him being home just because I never no what is going on inside his little body.

Zachary had his Labs drawn again this morning, and they are not looking any better..:( His creatinine Kidney function is heading the wrong direction his Hemoglobin is also low. Zachary was suppose to have a biopsy this week, but now the DRS don’t feel that it is necessary and are also trying to taper him down on his Anti-rejection meds. Zachary is on MEGA doses and the DRS feel that being on high doses are not good for the rest of his body and the kidney is not responding, so it makes no sense on being on them when we are losing the Kidney. I am very sad But right now I just want to get to a safe place with Zach and try to get him that new Kidney as soon as possible.

Sorry for all my rambling.. It is just so hard watching him go through this.. I just can’t wait for Zach to be back.. All he does lately is sleep and sleep

The plan is to draw labs again on Wednesday and Friday.. and thats are life.. right now it is a waiting game, we are just waiting to see what Zachary’s body is going to do. We just go day by day not knowing what tomorrow is going to bring.

We are still HOME!! Zachary had his labs drawn on Friday and his creatinine is now back up to 2.0!! Not liking one bit! The DRS are talking about doing another Kidney Biopsy next week to see if the acute or anti-body rejection is back or if its just the chronic taking this Kidney down.. It is very sad because all Zachary wants to do is sleep and sleep. He takes 2 long naps a day and is in back between 7-8pm. I can’t wait to have my Zach Man back!! He is usually full of ENERGY!!
Zachary’s Blood Pressure are finally down to 120/60!!! Yippeee That is on
1,500mg 3x aday of Prazosin,
7.5ml x3 a day of Amlodipine
3ml x2 a day of Atenolol
a #3 Clonidine patch that i change every week
and 2 capsules of Isradipine every 6 hrs when his botton # is over 90!
Yes, that is a whole #####@@#@# of BP’S Meds

But they are finally down!! YIPEEE!!!

Zachary is also having a fast heart rate and he gets scared because he feels like his heart is going to jump out of his chest. Last night it last 15 mins. I was getting to the point just to back our bags and bring him in. But we made it through the night. on Monday he is having his labs drawn again just to keep a close eye on him. I will update later with some really cute pictures…
