Zachary is feel much better, but is still fighting Aspiration Pneumonia. He is up all night with a nasty cough and throwing up, he is also very restless at night. But during the day he feels great! 
On Thursday, Friday and Saturday poor Zachary had to be poked… 
they have been checking his labs daily because his creatinine ’Kidney function” has been high. Today it has come down a little, but now his BUN has jumped up. The BUN is toxins in your blood that make you feel sick.. So on Monday they are re-drawing his labs again to make sure that they keep heading down the right direction.
It is so nice that Zachary has a J-tube. Because if he didn’t we would be in the hospital on IV’s… With him having a J-Tube I’m able to make sure that he is getting enough fluids and all of his medication.
Don’t forget we are walking in the National Kidney Walk October,11!!!
