Check me out!!!

Check me out!!!

Zachary is still doing great! Last night he was running a low grade fever so I was a little worried. But today he is fever FREE!!!!  Yesterday Zachary had a DRS appointment with his primary and boy was she shocked! On what happened to Zachary in the last 7 weeks, after an hour long appointment we came home and Zachary and

Austin played outside for hours. It it so nice to be home…..

Zachary is still tolerating his feeds; he is up to 68cc an hour for 24 hr feeds. His Mitroffanof has come out 3 times now! and I have the hardest time getting it back in and every time I do it always bleeds. Zachary also has blisters on his tummy from the Tegadram tape so his tummy is pretty sore.

Tomorrow Jo Zach’s home nurse is coming out to draw labs and hopefully we can have her pull out Zach’s Pick Line! I don’t like it in and I am terrified that it will get infected. Every time that Zach has had one it always gets infected and then we are back in the hospital with IV antibiotics.

Thank you all for your thoughts, prayers and for your generous donations. This has been a really hard time with Zachary being in the Hospital for the last 6 weeks. We are just so happy that we are home as a family again.

This is Zachary’s Journey… Please watch…

The Easter Bunny!!

The Easter Bunny!!

This is when I told Zachary that we are going HOME!!!
This is when I told Zachary that we are going HOME!!!

Zachary is still doing great!!!! I can’t believe how well he can get around with his Bladder bag, G-tube vented to his ferral bag and his feeding pump back pack. He is one Amazing little boy. Zachary is still feeling nausea and always feels like in needs to throw up. Last night Zachary’s Mitroffanof tube came out, so at 5am Wade and I struggled to put a new one back in, after 3 attempts we finally got it back in. I can’t wait for his follow up Urology appointment; I am getting a little worried because it is so hard to put the Catheter into his Mitroffanof and when I finally get it in he always bleeds.

This is the car ride HOME!!!

This is the car ride HOME!!!

We had a fun day at the Mall and the kids got to see the Easter Bunny after an hour wait!!!

Zachary has a follow up appointment tomorrow with his Primary Doctor. The next month we are going to be pretty busy with lots of follow up appointments and lab draws.

I am still trying to put together a movie and i have lots of pictures.

Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers,

Stacey

We are home!!!   The DRS let us go home at 5pm today and it is 10:30 and we are all still a wake but Zachary; after a lovely dinner as a family Zachary crashed in his own bed. “Thank you Linda for dinner”

It is so nice to all be home; I’ am not sure how long we will all be together; just because the DRS are still a little hesitate about Zachary getting another bowel obstruction. I think he looks great! He is not moving very fast because he still has all of his tubes and they made us go home with his Pick Line. Every time Zachary has ever had a Pick line it always gets infected. This time I know it will NOT! he also has his Mitroffanof and his G-jube to continuous drine so he gets to walk around with a nice bladder bag and Ferral bag taped to his leg and he is on 24/7 feeds, so he also gets to carry a back pack with his feeding pump. It was so cute because the first thing he did when we got home was he wanted to lie down in his own bed and then play his Video games on the big TV.

I will post more on his recovery and i have lots of new pictures. It is so nice to all be a family again under the same roof.

I am making a video of our hospital stay and a Montage so keep checking back for updates and for Zach’s VIDEO!!~

Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers,

Stacey

Zachary had another great night! I love these updates. I am also feeling much better, thanks to Karen for coming up yesterday and then Wade  came up last night and stayed with Zachary and I went home and slept in my own bed. Yes, that felt AWESOME!!

Zachary is doing great!!He is up to 40cc an hour of his Peptem JR we only have 30cc to go!! Last night and today he has been feeling a little nausea and he has thrown up about 4 times, so the DRS are a little concerned. We are not going to stop his feeds unless he starts to throw up green Bio. If we can get his feeds to 70cc an hour by the weekend the DRS said that we can hopefully be home by Easter!!! Keep the prayers coming, Kiley is having a really hard time with us not being all together as a family and she has missed 2 days of school because she is sick too. Last night I picked her up from Grandma and Grandpa’s house and gave her the loven that she desperately needed.

Wade took the day off today to hang out with Zachary and to finally bring the Van in to get it Fixed, When it rains it pours! I pray that it’s not serious.

Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers,

Stacey
