Hello to all Zachary’s fan’s, sorry I haven’t updated in a while we have been really busy with lots of DRS and school and just trying to being a normal family.

Zachary is doing great! He is getting bigger and stronger each day’ his weight is now up to 37lb!!!!! YIPEEE!! But we are having problems with high blood pressures 140/90! on 4 BP meds. I am waiting for a call back from the DRS to see what the next step is. The other problem is Zachary is Coughing and started to throw up at night because he has no more Nissen and We are worried that he is Aspirating into his lungs again. If this is the case then we need to do the surgery sooner than later to fix his esophagus. I talked to the DRS yesterday to order a hospital bed for him so he is more up right at night to help keep the acid down in his stomach and hopefully help him be more comfortable at night.

Zachary had a BIG day yesterday! He had Kindergarten round up!! We are planning on sending Zachary to a normal school just like Kiley. We are very scared but we want him to live a normal life just like everybody else. We have great Teachers working with him and there will be to RN on sites to Cath him, give Meds and to help him with his feeding pump. I personally don’t feel that Zachary is ready but I need to let him go. The school is right up the road so if they need me I can be there in a flash!. Zachary is very Excited and had smiles the whole time. He jumped right in with the other kids and you would never guess what he has been through.

Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers,

Stacey

That is so cool about Zach being able to go to a regular school! And its right down the road! Do you folks live on the way to St. Cloud? My wife and I are driving up to St. Cloud tomorrow to see my grand-kids, and I was going to stop by for a second and say hi to Zach, but for the life of me I can’t remember what city you live in! At anyrate, give Zach a big hug-n-hello from the old mandolin guy!

I am so glad to hear Zach is doing well. It is always hard to let go. I cried each time one of mine started Kindergarten, so I know how hard it is for you to let him go with his medical concerns. Don’t worry though, he’ll do fine and you will be close by. I’m sure he will be a star student in kindergarten!

I sure have been thinking of you guys every day. I’m glad he is doing well. Not fun with the throwing up stuff. Hopefully you canhold off on the surgery until he is back to himself. His weight is up too. Yeah!!!! Great news!! Kindergarten round-up, wow! Stacie he is ready! I’m not ready for Mason to go next year either, but we need to let them go and be NORMAL. They will be just fine.
