Zachary had a better night. It is still really hard to get him to fall asleep but he is starting to at least sleep through the night. But on the other hand the Porcelain God Aka “Toilet” was my Best Friend. Yes, I have the Flu. Last night I was running a fever and throwing up all night. Thank GOD for my Neighbor Karen. She came up here

Thank you Karen!!
to hang out with Zach and I went home and slept all day. Thank you Karen!! I pray that Zachary doesn’t get what I have. Being a Kidney Kid he doesn’t have the Immune system to fight off germs like we do. My bug was a 24 hour bug, but if he gets it this bug it could last 2-5 days or longer and then we would have to start all over with his feeds.
We have been having problems with cathing Zachary so last weekend Dustin another little boy that has a Mitrofanoff came up here to show Zachary that he is not alone. It was so cute because Dustin had Zachary come into the Bathroom and he showed Zach how he Caths himself threw the belly button. When Zachary came out of the Bathroom he had a look on his face like ‘Wow I’m not the only one’! I think this was good for Zach. Then yesterday when we were trying to Cath Zach it was a little harder to get the Catheter in and he started to bleed, well the Surgeons came up and put the Catheter back and now it needs to be in for a week so the track can heal again. With the Catheter back in Zachary is having lovely Bladder spam’s that are really painful and the DRS hesitate to give him anything because he is still having some Hallucination of the black spiders.
Zachary is still doing really good on his feeds. We are up to 30cc an hour of FULL strength of Peptamen JR!!! yes FULL strength, now he needs to tolerate 70cc an hour for 24/7. We are almost there!! Hopefully, we can be home on Easter!!!
Thank you to all of our neighbors, friends and family that have helped us out with our Kids, Bunny and with all the prayers that are keeping us going.
Stacey
