Help Zachary      Zach needs a new kidney!!!
Mar 17, 2009

p1010046Zachary has been having a lot of pain today, so they have been giving him a lot of pain meds. Around 3:30 Today Zachary’s Oxygen  levels  dropped pretty fast along with his blood pressure, his respirations were very shallow and slow. Yea I was scared; the nurse put oxygen on him and his Oxygen levels still were not coming up and they were unable to get his blood pressure up. About 5 mins later  the DRS came in and had to give him Narcan to reverse the effects of his Medications and to get his heart beating again. Zachary is stable but is now on Oxygen. They also did a chest X-ray to look for fluid in his Lungs.

We pray that we keep moving forward and no more steps back!!

Thank you for all your prayers,

Stacey

Oh my gosh!! I sure hope he starts to heal and gets back on track!! How scary!! Those narcotics can cause lots of trouble. When Mason was on Morphine for a long period of time his heart rate would drop. I don’t let them use morphine anymore on him. It’s such a hard line between pain and too much medicines. It’s so hard for us Mom’s. Prayers continue!!!!

Dearest Zachary,

Know that your California family is lifting you up to a loving God every day, praying for a quick recovery.

We can’t wait for you to go home with Mom & Dad, jump on the trampoline and play your favorite games on your WII

We all love you so much Zachary. You keep fighting and we’ll keep praying.

Love and hugs,

I am so sorry that Zachary (and you!) is having to go through all this. I pray that the doctors will finally be able to get the meds all figured out, and help Zachary toward some healing! I am going to be over that way tomorrow. Please let me know if there is anything I could drop off that might help a little with your stay there.
